I’m delighted to say that my proposal has been selected to represent Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) in the Lismore Heritage Town branding competition. The competition runs nationwide with a select number of students being chosen out of the five colleges competing, and will be on display from the 12th-17th February in the Lismore Castle Arts Gallery.
The towns itself is one of Ireland’s best known heritage towns and receives tourists from all over the globe, whether it be to stay at Lismore Castle or to attend the many festivals throughout the year, the most famous of these being the IMMRAMA Travel Writing Festival and the Robert Boyle Science Festival. Projects like this don’t come around too often so it’s a great competition and a great opportunity as the winning proposal will be used to form a unified front to promote the town.
